Located in Racine, Wisconsin, Reliance Contorls specializes in manufacturing a number of electrical products, with their primary products consisting of generator accessories, transfer switches, and transfer panesl for portable generators and inverters. Transfer switches are used as a secondary power source for portable generators and inverters to connect circutis in a home or building wired to the electrical system. A transfer switch will isolate the generator power making it safe to use the generator as a backup source in the event of a main power fail, and eliminates the possibility of "back feeding" the utility line. 

Reliance Controls' Pro/tran transfer switch models accomodate up to 10 circuits and generators with 50A 125/250V outlets, while their Panel/Link models are rated up to 200 amps. In addition to transfer switches, Reliance Controls provides a number of generator accessories like heavy duty outdoor generator power cords, outdoor remote power inlet boxes, and NEMA and non-NEMA plugs and connectors.
