NorthStar Generators are made by Northern Tool & Equipment, a family-owned business that’s proud of their ability to equip you with the tools you need to tackle challenges. Starting out as Northern Hydraulics, Donald Kotula continued to grow his family business until they were adding more products like tools, tarps, water pumps, snowplow parts, and air compressors. In 1981, the first Northern Tool store was opened in Minnesota, and what could not be purchased by suppliers was often built by the family.  In 1991, Northern Tool began to focus on building bigger, tougher products under the NorthStar brand, including generators, pressure washers, log splitters, and air compressors.

Today NorthStar Generators are sold at outlets accross the United States and on websites, like ours!  These affordable backup power generators are powered by Honda engines and feature a variety of wattages to meet your specific electrical needs, from 2700 Watts up to 15,000 Watts.  In addition to gasoline powered engines, NorthStar power generators also come with diesel engines. At Absolute Generators, we also stock accessories such as Wheel Kits and backup batteries.
